Job Description

The Company 
Our client, a reputable full-fledged construction company is looking for an HSE Officer whose principal duties will range from developing and implementing organizational safety programs to reviewing and updating institutional HSE policies and conducting risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.

Responsibilities

You'll be in charge of,

  • Ensuring HSE standards are adhered to at work sites.
  • Ensuring that all work activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and HSE policies.
  • Developing HSE plans for infrastructure works projects and ensuring their implementation.
  • Performing HSE audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
  • Ensuring site safety, including risk management, risk assessment and accident prevention.
  • Developing and delivering HSE training to employees and contractors.
  • Conducting HSE incident investigations and report.

Requirements
  • BSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment or related field
Professional Experience
  • At least five (05) years of experience in Health-Safety-Environment (HSE) of infrastructural works
  • Have at least two (02) experiences in the implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) for infrastructure works, including at least one (01) experience of work at a higher height in the last ten (10) years.

  • Proven expertise in HSE works
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team and to collaborate with other departments of the company.
  • Good knowledge of current HSE standards.
  • Mastery of IT
