The Company Our client operates in the agribusiness industry. We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to further enrich their accounting department by assisting with accounting procedures.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Senior Accountant, you'll carry out the duties of,
- Assisting the team in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
- Calculating payroll taxes
- Updating the accounts receivables on a daily basis and issue invoices
- Updating the accounts payable on a daily basis and performing reconciliations
- Assisting in completing audits
- Reconciling ledgers monthly and quarterly
- Coordinating with Senior Accountant and Management to prepare budgets
- Posting and processing the journal entries to make sure that all transactions have been recorded
- Generating reports of financial status information
- Adhering to the law and the company’s financial and accounting guidelines
- Assisting with other accounting procedures
