The Company Our client, a trading company of food products, is looking to further strengthen its logistics department by hiring a warehouse assistant who will assist the team in the execution of logistics activities.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, you will have the following tasks:
Reception of food products
- Check incoming deliveries to ensure compliance with delivery notes
- Inspect products for any damage or defects
- Perform the unloading of goods and their disposal in the appropriate storage areas
- Maintain accurate records of incoming inventory
Storage and inventory management
- Organize food items in the warehouse in a logical and efficient manner
- Track stock levels and report replenishment needs
- Ensure that products are stored in accordance with health and safety standards
- Use inventory management systems to maintain accurate records of inputs and outputs
Preparation of orders
- Gather food products according to orders received
- Check the accuracy of products and quantities before shipping
- Pack orders appropriately to ensure their integrity during transport
- Prepare the necessary shipping documentation
Distribution of products
- Load delivery trucks in accordance with safety instructions
- Ensure orders are properly dispatched to optimize delivery routes
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide quality customer service when releasing products to customers
