Accountant

The Company 
In continuous growth, our client, an international trading firm seeks to beef up its accounting department by bringing on board an Accountant to assist the team with the execution of accounting duties.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, you'll be responsible for,

• Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Checking and recording incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Profit and Loss and balance sheet variance analysis
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting
• Assisting Accounting Manager in budget preparation and financial forecasts
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
