We are now looking for a driven Business Development Associate to help build our Dutch client base from the ground up.


The Opportunity
This is not a corporate sales role.


This is a growth-building position within a young and ambitious consultancy. You will help shape our commercial footprint in the Dutch market and work closely with leadership to position Liée as a trusted HR advisory partner.

What You’ll Be Doing


🚀 Client Acquisition & Prospecting
  • Identify and research potential clients in the Netherlands
  • Build and manage a prospect pipeline
  • Conduct LinkedIn outreach and cold introductions
  • Initiate contact with SMEs, startups, and growing companies
🤝 Relationship Building
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings
  • Support introductory HR consultations
  • Maintain follow-ups and nurture leads
  • Represent Liée professionally in meetings and networking events
📊 Commercial Strategy Support
  • Conduct market research on competitors and industry trends
  • Assist in developing proposals and service presentations
  • Contribute ideas to improve positioning and service packaging
  • Help refine our go-to-market strategy
💡 Growth Contribution
  • Identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities
  • Support partnership development initiatives
  • Contribute to building Liée’s brand presence in the Dutch market

What We’re Looking For


Experience
  • From 3 years experience in business development, recruitment, sales, consulting support, or client-facing roles
  • Experience in recruitment or HR is a strong advantage
  • Experience in B2B outreach is a plus

Skills & Attributes
  • Confident communicator (written & verbal)
  • Comfortable reaching out to new contacts
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven
  • Organized and structured in managing pipelines
  • Commercially minded and growth-oriented
  • Resilient and not discouraged by rejection
  • Professional and client-focused
Languages
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • French is an added advantage
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience in HR, payroll, or consultancy environments
  • Understanding of Dutch business landscape
  • Interest in HR, compliance, or workforce strategy
